Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
1.1 ‘FastRewards’ is the operating company that oversees all FastRewards procedures, also known as Fast Rewards Ltd.
1.2 ‘Supply partners’ are businesses that belong to the FastRewards programme, have a current listing as a supply partner on the FastRewards web site and are the businesses that a member may earn FastPoints from.
1.3 ‘FastPoints’ are the points that are credited to your account when you earn them with supply partners and the points that are deducted from your account when you redeem.
1.4 ‘member’, ‘you’ and ‘your’ refers to a business that is a FastRewards member which also must mean the member is a customer of a supply partner.
1.5 ‘FastRewards programme’ is a rewards system which has been established to reward businesses who are consistently trading with other businesses. This loyalty needs recognition beyond the quality products and professional services provided.
1.6 ‘Transaction’ refers to a financial transaction involving the transfer of goods and/or services for money.
1.7 ‘Acts inappropriately’ refers to actions that are deemed to be inappropriate by FastRewards or a supply partner.
2. Participation
2.1 By participating in the programme you are agreeing to comply and are acknowledging the Terms and Conditions that are set out below. Failure to do so may result in termination of membership and any FastPoints accrued.
2.2 Membership termination may also occur if a member gives written notice to FastRewards, death or bankruptcy. Termination will involve termination of any FastPoints accrued.
3. Accumulation of ‘FastPoints’
3.1 FastPoints will be credited to the member’s account in arrears on a monthly basis as authorised by the supply partners.
3.2 FastPoints are earned through participating in eligible transactions with supply partners who belong to the FastRewards programme.
3.3 Only transactions that FastRewards and the relevant supply partner wish to award FastPoints may be eligible.
3.4 FastPoints will only be earned where a member complies with the normal terms of trade of the supply partner unless otherwise agreed between both parties.
3.5 Total transactions by a member with any supply partner exceeding NZ$50,000 per calendar month will qualify for FastPoints only where FastRewards have pre-approved the transactions with the supply partner.
3.6 FastRewards may terminate FastPoints at any stage if the transaction has been cancelled or modified.
4. Duration and expiry of ‘FastPoints’
4.1 FastPoints will expire two years after they have been credited to the customers account.
4.2 If FastPoints are not used before their expiry date, the member forfeits their FastPoints.
5. Rewards redemption
5.1 A member must have accrued 100 or more FastPoints before they can redeem their points for use in a supply partner transaction.
5.2 The FastPoints redeemed are to only be used by the member that has accrued the FastPoints through transactions with a supply partner.
5.3 FastPoints may not be redeemed as cash through a supply partner.
5.4 The security of a member’s ID and password are solely the member’s responsibility. FastRewards takes no responsibility for the incorrect redemption of FastPoints where the correct member ID and password have been provided by email to FastRewards.
6. Account activity details and statement
6.1 FastRewards is responsible for the administration and provision of the FastPoints.
6.2 Members can request the balance of their FastPoints through an email to FastRewards during normal business hours.
6.3 An annual administration fee of ten FastPoints will be removed from each FastRewards account.
6.4 FastPoints that are earned by members are held by FastRewards in a seperate account.
7. Disclaimer
7.1 FastRewards does not accept any responsibility for a supply partner’s actions and any complaint of their goods and/or services must be taken up with the supply partner.
7.2 The Terms and Conditions set out here are subject to all relevant laws, governmental directions and court orders.
7.3 FastRewards shall not be held liable or responsible for any loss of business, loss of profits or consequential damage suffered by a member due to the goods and/or services provided by a supply partner.
8. Taxation
8.1 FastRewards or supply partners do not accept any responsibility regarding taxation for the accrual of FastPoints.
8.2 Members are fully responsible for the tax treatment of any FastPoints redeemed.
9. General/Miscellaneous
9.1 If FastRewards or a supply partner decides that a member has acted inappropriately, with respect to the FastRewards programme, FastRewards reserves the right to exclude the member from future participation and also terminate all FastPoints from the members account.
9.2 FastRewards is responsible for overseeing the programme and therefore a supply partner is not a sub-contractor, servant or employee of FastRewards.
9.3 All correspondence will be sent to the last known address and email of the member and it is the member’s responsibility to inform FastRewards of address change or email change.
9.4 Any supply partners involvement in the programme is subject to change without any notice.
9.5 Membership in this programme may be terminated if a member provides misleading information or misinterpretation to FastRewards.
10. Privacy
10.1 If a member participates in the programme, personnel information may be collected but only used to carry out the programme.
10.2 Transactional details along with members buying and spending habits may recorded for use.
10.3 A member may request to see all the information and correct the information under the Privacy Act 1993.
10.4 The information collected may be used for marketing and business development purposes by FastRewards and any supply partner if further authorised by FastRewards.
11. Modification of Terms and Conditions
11.1 FastRewards may modify these terms and condition any time. Members will be given notice before any changes are made if the modification is not beneficial to members.
